Who runs Quvlo

Quvlo is a one-person web design studio run by Kyle Chalk in Dallas, Texas. Kyle is the only person who reads what you send. You can reach him at hello@quvlo.co.

What Quvlo collects

The call request form. Your name, your email address, when suits you for a call, and, if you used the concierge first, the short brief it wrote.

The AI concierge. The choice you pick and everything you type into the chat, plus the brief it writes at the end. If you ask Kyle to contact you, the name, email or phone number you give.

That is all. The site has no accounts, no payments, no advertising, no tracking cookies and no analytics that follow you around. It does not look up, scan or collect information about you or your business from anywhere else.

How it is used

Only to reply to you, to prepare for your call and quote, and to work on your project if you hire Quvlo. Concierge chats are also read to improve the questions it asks. Your information is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.

The AI concierge

The chat on the homepage is an AI, not a person, and it says so. It runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic. What you type is sent to Anthropic to write each reply. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, it is not used to train their models. Please don’t share passwords, payment details or health information in the chat.

Each chat is stored with Cloudflare, Quvlo’s hosting provider, and is deleted automatically 90 days after its last message. When the concierge writes your brief, the brief and a copy of the whole chat are also saved in Quvlo’s Airtable workspace, or emailed to Kyle through Formspree if Airtable is unavailable, so they are there for your call. That copy is not deleted after 90 days; it is kept as described under “How long it is kept” below.

To keep the chat fair and its costs capped, the site counts chats and messages from each connection using a scrambled (salted and hashed) form of your network address. Each count expires after about an hour, and the address itself is never stored.

Studio Work

The sites under Studio Work (quvlo.co/work) are concept sites for made-up businesses, built to show what Quvlo can make. Their forms, booking screens and calculators are demos: nothing you type into them is sent or stored anywhere. One of them, a lawn game, keeps your best score in your own browser’s storage; it never leaves your device.

Service providers

Quvlo uses a few services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs:

Cloudflare hosts the site and stores concierge chats. Like any web host, it processes your network address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Anthropic writes the concierge’s replies. Formspree receives the call request form and emails it to Kyle; it also keeps a copy of each submission in Quvlo’s Formspree account. It does the same for a concierge brief when Airtable is unavailable. Airtable is where concierge briefs, with their chats, are saved. Fonts are served from quvlo.co itself, so no font company receives your address.

How long it is kept

Concierge chats stored with Cloudflare are deleted 90 days after their last message. Copies kept elsewhere are not deleted on that schedule: call requests (in Formspree and Kyle’s email) and saved briefs with their chats (in Airtable, or Formspree and email) are kept while they are needed to reply to you and, if you become a client, for as long as the project and normal business records need them. You can ask for any of them to be deleted at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything Quvlo holds about you, or ask that it stop using it, by emailing hello@quvlo.co. Kyle will reply within a few business days.

Children

The site is for businesses and isn’t aimed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent Quvlo personal information, email the address above and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

If what the site collects changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
